After a lifetime of throwing away expensive watches that need batteries, I stopped wearing a watch for 2 years. My Mom, want to give me an extra nice gift to be like boys good for 50 years, surprised me with this handsome Seiko Premier. A Kinetic watches do not require a battery ... in fact, I saved a backup power 6 months after only wear it for one week. This is substantial jewelry ... that weight without feeling uncomfortable. Another thing that really set this watch apart from so many others is that it does not contain useful or confusing quickly. This clearly shows I watch "day ", "date " and "time ", without a Forcing me to squint or a means to interpret quickly. I don 't get out of a suitcase around the world, I do not run a marathon race, competed in yachting competitions or collect artifacts from the seabed. I will find it hard to think of something that I really needed to time to a tenth of a second. This watch would make me quite well in the 8-5 office job. This is especially good to wear something that 'was the head ", is fully functional, and gave me very proud. Sometimes being a good boy has rewards!
