Description

As aficianado diving watch, I was happy to buy the "icons " Black Monster Seiko, a model which I understand is not produced by Seiko. The vast majority of the dive watches I own cases have diameters of 44-51mm and are 14-18mm, thickness. Thus, according to data sheet listed on Amazon, I expected a watch with a 47mm diameter by 13mm case. Well, they are all half - the watch is 13 mm thick, but is actually 42mm wide by 47mm tall, so not really a false position in itself compared to most of my other watches is actually a small dip, so if someone really likes big beefy divers, you could find that shows a little too small. Otherwise, the watch is as advertised and, Let 's face it, Amazon has a lot on this show.

This is a perfect watch for what I needed. It is simple, rugged, easy to read, to change the batteries, and looks better than I expected from the photograph. The dial is big enough there is no problem with reading it while diving. It also serves me well with other sporting activities.

I bought 1.5 years ago encounter, and two days before the clock started to have a problem, it now runs over 2 or 4 hours per day, almost .. can no longer sufficient. R rhave return to it and the repair site of amazon does not work. have to call them Monday and see how it goes. R RUPD: I called this morning was told to watch them send "Swinford Jewelers " for repair, verily, I will pay the shipping costs.

The very well WATCH MADE FOR THE PRICE. SEIKI Monster IS THE ONE OF THE BEST Watches to buy. Accurate automatic mechanism IS NOW over the past USING 7S26B. MY WATCH is currently missing ABOUT A DAY 3 seconds. THE CASE IS huge Steel something to appreciate for its QUALITY. Finally, after being exposed to the illumination light can not be compared. IT Glow in the dark for many HOURS AFTER exposure to light for several minutes. I definitely recommend this PRODUCT. I got mine ON SALE FOR $ 122.00, AND IS A GREAT PRICE FOR BLACK monster.

Great Clock for the money and fast transaction. They then got more and more time to my other watches, which cost 10 times as much. There is just something about the SKX779K3!

If memory serves me right it different 'watch is 45-46mm across. The rubber strap it weighs a lot, being strong stainless steel. Automatic, don 't need to change the battery. Weekday / day of the month. Second hand. The clear is that dial - min hold it under sunlight or fluorescent light for the 5th time and large indices and hands are glow in the dark for six hours. Movement is running a little fast and need to be reset once a week. No problem. I like people rather would not want to try to estimate it 's expense. R rit is an impressive chunk of metal. This is a REAL dive watch. 200 meters.

Finally broke down and bought my Black Monster After meditating on it for a few months. So far, so good. Pass the rubber strap with a photograph Seiko Z22 strap ... is not too difficult a challenge to manage, just needed some trimming and strap compliments the watch reflects much better than the original cone. As far as accuracy is concerned, although I 've only had the clock for about three days or so, no "break-in " period of fluctuation or severe. The clock was killed in execution. Let me repeat that ... the clock is running dead-on. I imagine that start 'll float after another couple of weeks or so, but suffice to say that I ' m very impressed with the accuracy so far. Great, but not the presence of pulse, "bling. " Just watch a good, substantial, solid.

The newer monster, the end of 2007 production, are much more accurate because the 7S26 "B " movement. It took time to enter at some point, but after a few weeks, it 's running + or - 5 seconds per 24 hours. That 's Art Performance ROLEX. R rDo yourself a favor tho. Buy it on the bracelet instead of the rubber band, so even more convenient. The "wave " on the rubber band Uncomfortably rather dig into the wrist.

I am very pleased with it. I accept that a mechanic / Kinetic will lose a little time weekly, so what? It is rugged, comfortable and I can read it at the bottom of a mineshaft at midnight. I recommend it for those people tired of replacing batteries.

I am very pleased with this watch. I am still evaluate its accuracy. When I first received it it ran slow abut 4-5 sec / day. Then for no appearent reason it started to run 10 sec slow/24 hrs. I am now running a week time period and after 2 days it ils runnilng slightly fast. Perhaps it is still breaking in or it is evaluating my activity rate. Maybe I should put it on a watch winder for Consistancy, but, that would not be a real world evaluation. Even at worst case it is still in the 10 + or-sec / day via its specifictions. R rif you want a good solid reliable watch, and can dive 200 meters, even if you never do. It has my highest recommendation r rWarren Schrick

Good to watch. But I had a month and then it began to win 5 minutes per hour. I sent them into the COSERV (Seiko 's authorized repair center), and they fixed it for free. Not sure what happened. The ticket only said "service movement, new seal and pressure test " In any case, my experience seems to be an exception, and the repairs were covered. (A side note: Don 't send your beautiful box and cushions for the service. you mine back didn ' t. Oh well.) r rto me the clock isn 't so great. It 's small compared to my JSAR marathon. It 's many well enough ... especially since you need to reset it for months without 31 days anyway. R ri can 't imagine that it ' sa better watch out with a fire. You can wake up in the early morning hours and still read the time in the dark. R RI 'd buy a new ... No doubt.

I bought the Seiko Black Monster several months ago at a great price, delivery was slow even though I paid extra. R rThe watch arrived well packaged, in new condition and works as it should. R rit is a beauty, well made, and now one of my favorite watches. It goes good for going out dressed up or casual wear. R rBTW, Mine came on the reknowned SS metal bracelet, well made and comfortable. R rI would buy it again.

The clock and I was really happy with it, hope the band.It not match the size of the watch, or look right for a person who is 6 '4 "@ 345 pounds, looks like I have a rubber band in my wrist.But i replaced it with a higher bandwidth, and it seems to me better.But the watch is big, strong and relyable ...... real good watch ...

Because I bought this watch that I wanted a rugged watch that goes under water and never needs a battery. I got that and more. This watch is durable and accurate. You must continue to wear it but for me, that 's not a problem as I like the appearance of the watch. The date and day adjustment was a little difficult at first but I have not read the instructions. The rod is off center and it's a great design that I have no gouging strains my wrist.

This watch is a very nice watch for the money spent. ROnly thing I like about it is that if you use it for 2 days, so it will stop working, losing all the time and has to restore date.Otherwise looks great, and really did well.It weighed two times more than most flights (built like a tank) Well worth the money I spent.

I have owned a Seiko diver watch during the last 25 years. I finally replaced my old Monster (they weren 't called a monster in 1982) with the new Monster because I have lost the panel, and love it. I can prove it 's inequality. I watched the old and new watch has experienced fluxuations extreme temperatures. I watch this ware fire. I've never scuba diving with this watch but the old watch was held in 200 feet water depth. My only complaint is that it is running about 1 minute fast every week. That's just the reason I don 't give him 5 stars. I highly recommend watching this if you need a man who looked sharp durable 's watch.

10 Stars! I 've owned multiple watches throughout the years and by far, this is the coolest watch in my collection. I really dig my Kenneth Coles, Guess, Swatches, even my Timex are great, but none compare to this watch. It simply looks cool and functions flawlessly. So what more can you want in a timepiece, style & substance on your wrist! This watch is highly recommended & the fact it never needs a battery goes beyond expectation. Buy this watch!

Hello everyone. Up for review today is the SKX779K3 also known as the Black Monster. I received my watch today a little cheap plastic box to Seiko, but everything else was there, however. This watch, as many have said, is probably one of the best that can be had at less than $ 200 is a very solid watch that carries a weight which is nice on the wrist, but not those used for heavy watches have to get used to the extra weight. The display plain black and white writing on the link easier to read, and the black and white day and date wheels are a nice touch to this black-faced watch. The frame has a very smooth operation that feels well made vs. other watches in this price range. Unless you have been living under a rock, you know the glow (lume in the dark material) on this watch is second to none, literally. When I haven 't tested for accuracy, however, the latest move 7s26b this year ' s Seiko 's is said to have better accuracy than 7s26a older. While the rubber strap is very comfortable, it comes down to 18 mm, which IMO is a bit thin for a big clock. I 'd prefer the bracelet off SKX divers other series, like 007 009 or A35. In general, if you are looking for a watch of high quality that is as difficult as it seems, look no further than the SKX divers, especially the black monster. I just received the watch today. Great watch. Large face, and quite "Heft ". I really like. The second hand sweeps (not click the way in seconds between the quartz clock is). The automatic mechanism is totally silent, all I can say. Great watch at a great price.

The pic doesn 't do this watch justice. It 's simple to it ' s elegance and functionality. i love it. I bought this watch after a Marine Corps buddy of mine said was his take on his 15 years. Amazon service was super as always. R ri highly recommend this watch.

About me today in Africa, and all of my orders are delivered via a PO Box in NY City, I am more than satisfied.
